The blouse is a long sleeved pullover using two separate cloths: a knit fabric for the torso and a woven fabric for the sleeves and collar. The collar converts to a mock turtle neck for additional protection in a fire/flame environment. A zipper front opening extends from the top of the collar to mid-chest. The blouse has two upper sleeve pockets and tabs for wrist closure adjustment.
The trousers have a concealed button fly, a stitched pleat, belt loops and side waist elastic adjustments. There are two side hanging pockets, two welt opening hip pockets, two pleated cargo pockets and two calf pockets. The trousers have single layer external reinforcement patches at the seat and knees. The base material for construction of the blouse sleeves/chest and trouser is a flame resistant cotton/nylon/meta-aramid twill cloth.
The basic material for the blouse torso is a meta-aramid/flame resistant rayon/nylon/para-aramid knit fabric. Each blouse and trouser is permethrin treated.
